Park Avenue Armory 643 Park Avenue New York, NY
From January 24 to February 2, 2025, The Winter Show returns to the Park Avenue Armory for its 71st edition, assembling more than 70 exhibitors whose offerings span the arc of art history, from antiquity to the contemporary. Ceramics, long embedded in the decorative arts, appear throughout the fair — Delftware, Portuguese faience, and Chinese porcelain - alongside contemporary works presented by galleries such as Joan B Mirviss and Michele Beiny, tracing the material’s evolution across centuries. Beyond its role as a premier destination for collectors and connoisseurs, The Winter Show is, at its core, a philanthropic endeavor. Proceeds from ticket sales and benefit events directly support the East Side House Settlement, a nonprofit that provides essential services to more than 14,000 residents of the Bronx and Northern Manhattan. While the fair encompasses a vast array of artistic disciplines, the following galleries stand out for their dedication to ceramics — offering a compelling narrative of the material’s past, present, and future.
